Bubblegum by Pete Slippy

Teamed up with Caitlin, Breann, and some of the other Textile Design students at the University of Idaho to create this messy conglomeration of photos. Not really knowing what I was getting into, lighting was certainly a challenge here at first, and the quickly melting ice cream meant I had to adapt quickly. There was one continuous light in the studio, and a hideous backdrop for me to use. So of course I didn't use them! I used my off camera speedlight and softbox, and the white wall next to the studio! Lesson: use what you have, or don't. Set ups don't have to be complex to work. Overall, the shooting time was roughly 10 minutes. (Clean up was twice as long).

I also want to keep this blog somewhat personal, so I might tell a story here and there. So without further ado, this is the beginning of my blog.
